Days: Tuesdays
Dates: April 18, April 25, May 2, May 9, May 16, May 23, May 30, and June 6
Time: 4:00pm – 5:30 pm

Using New York City’s architecture as inspiration, students will examine and compare how homes have changed over time, from indigenous dwellings to modern skyscrapers. Each week, students will take on the role of architects as they design and build models of homes from past, present, and future, learning how advances in technology and changes in society have created new types of buildings. Over the course of the program, students will create a 3D timeline of residential architecture, ending with their own ideas for how we will live in the future.
